DIWALI : THE SPARKLING
FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
I know we all love
Diwali so am not here to educate you on this festival. It’s just that after the
pandemic this year Diwali was more special. It was more exciting to buy new
clothes, trying new varieties of sweets and of course meeting and socialising
with friends and relatives. Diwali is incomplete without celebrating it with
your near and dear ones. I too travelled to my hometown and spent a few days with
my grandparents, taking their blessings and visiting temples which were also
glittering with amazing lights and beautiful rangolis. Thanks to the social
media, we can see breath taking rangolis everywhere nowadays.
However old I grow, I
cant stop my love for the crackers. I don’t like the sound ones like bombs but
love the sparklers like fuljhadi, chakri and anar. Diwali is complete with
that.
Also, there is a
special charm in doing the Lakshmi poojan wherein we have all types of fruits
specially the custard apple and various dry fruits as the Prasad.
Idea is to come
together, celebrate and enjoy life and Diwali just provides that doorstep with
its mid cold weather making our spirits high with the abundant joy, happiness and prosperity.
Wishing HAPPY DIWALI to all reading this blog of mine.
I am posting a few pics
below so that you can relive Diwali watching these.
