Today is World Mental Health Day. 😍
I think keeping your mind healthy is as important as keeping your body. What happens most of the time is that we can know when the body is unwell and we need to visit a doctor for the same. Like having fever, stomach pain etc and we visit a doctor.
The biggest challenge today we all face is to identify whether we are suffering from any mental health issues. Even saying that you have a mental issue is often termed as becoming mad or eccentric by the society or even your own people.
Today , we are all constantly on our mobile phones and there is continuous so much processing of so much information all the time that it is making us stressed and tired mentally and we do not even realise this.
Of course, the technology is important and we have to live with it. So how do we coexist peacefully with the instantly changing world around us.
Most importantly , we should actually thank the social media for educating us that its a World Mental health day.
We must educate our near and dear ones and help us overcome these taboos around mental health issues.
And also educate them that its possible to cure these mental issues by visiting a specialist like psychologist or psychiatrist.
Most important symptom you see anyone around you is staying lonely or is crying or if your friend tells you that she is always feeling low, its important to talk to them and not let them be secluded. This will solve half the problem. And then prepare them to visit a specialist if you see the symptoms are becoming more severe.
